Safe, Efficient and WIMES-compliant
A Modular Flexible Open Storage Bund for Water Treatment Chemicals
Our GRP kiosks can be supplied with different security ratings, depending on your needs. Fire safety, natural ventilation, internal lighting, containment of overflows and spills into the bund and an insulated dosing area come as standard — plus lots more.
Rapidly Configured and Deployed Chemical Dosing Solutions
The AquaMod Range puts bulk chemical storage, dosing equipment and environmental monitoring and control systems into a single, factory-built modular unit. Designed with flexibility and speed of delivery in mind, AquaMod products can be configured to meet specific project requirements, all within a standardised design framework.
Products in the AquaMod Range are built using components we keep in stock. This translates to rapid deployment, reduced site disruption and improved safety, compliance and quality control. Every product in the series complies with Water Industry Mechanical and Electrical Specifications (WIMES) and comes with comprehensive documentation.
Key Features
AquaMod combines bulk chemical storage, dosing equipment, and control systems into a single, factory-built modular unit, significantly reducing on-site installation time and complexity. Available in storage capacities ranging from 2.5m³ to 30m³, AquaMod units are housed within either GRP kiosks or sustainable Timber Modular Build (TMB®) (link to TMB page) enclosures, both incorporating integral bunds with 110% containment.
Typically divided into two segregated areas, a clean, dry control and dosing zone, and a dedicated bulk storage area to enhance operational safety, promote good housekeeping, and simplify maintenance procedures. Configurations can include single or dual tanks, as well as single or multiple dosing points, with additional tanks increasing capacity without altering core system layouts.
Bulk storage tanks are constructed from UV-stable HDPE and include features such as ultrasonic level monitoring, temperature control options, overflow systems, and safe-access valves. The integrated bund provides compliant containment, while kiosks offer insulation, ventilation, and fire-rated construction including:
- A traffic light entry system linked to a forced ventilation fan with timed air changes
- Additional ventilation fans for improved airflow
- A fully segregated control and ventilation area
- A bunded GRP enclosure, designed for a 25-year service life
- Insulated and plastic-lined dosing area for easy cleaning and wash-down
Fill-point cabinet with tanker filling and bund vac connections, plus digital display and alarms
AquaMods offer exceptional versatility, allowing tailored configurations to meet specific project requirements while maintaining a standardised design framework. Its modular construction enables rapid deployment, reduced site disruption, and improved quality control through off-site manufacturing.
