Our Modular Ceramic Treatment Unit
A Fusion of Ceramic Membrane Technology & Upfront Coagulation to Enhance Performance
What is a Modular Ceramic Treatment Unit (m-CTU®₃₇)?
Developed to meet rising demand for quality, efficiency and sustainability, our m-CTU®₃₇ product is a modular solution for scaling water treatment performance. It also addresses some of the most complex challenges in modern water treatment.
Designed for plants processing up to 500 ML/day, it uses a ceramic ultrafiltration module with plug-and-play capabilities to deliver industry-leading water purification.
Key features include:
- Busbars, which reduce the time required for on-site electrical assembly by including cabling within the unit.
- Single Motor Control Centre (MCC) and remote IO/CPU, allowing for standardised software and commissioning.
- CeraMac® C37 membrane vessel housing 37 individual ceramic membranes across a compact filtration area of 925m2. First-class microfiltration is monitored through daily pressure decay tests.
- Membrane feed pump, which can operate across a flow range of 92 – 227m3/hr – making it highly adaptable from project to project.
- ILCA® (Inline Coagulation and Adsorption) vessel, designed to form micro-floc, which enhances membrane filtration performance due to reduced traditional flocculation time.
- Backwash vessel, enabling high-pressure backwash cycles that effectively clean the membranes, extending their operational life and maintaining performance.
- m-POA™ (Point-of-Application Dosing), providing dosing for chemically-enhanced backwashing of the membranes and ensuring thorough maintenance.
- Standard product instrument boards, ensuring consistent quality monitoring to maintain safe and reliable membrane operation throughout the unit’s lifecycle.
Reimagining Water Treatment Across the UK and Beyond
